A.E. Köchert was established in 1814. In 1831, they became the court jeweler to the imperial royal family.
Catering to the expensive taste of the royalty the founder, Alexander Emanuel Köchert, became the emperor’s personal jeweler in 1868.
Still too this day A.E. Köchert is still in business in Vienna, Austria.
